The cottage itself had a lovely character, and although some aspects of it were a bit dated, everything was clean and in perfect working order. The location was wonderful, with beautiful views, and it was in close proximity to two pubs. Yvonne, the host, was amazing, checking in on us to make sure we had everything we needed. The thoughtful touches like arrival gifts and games for the children made our stay even more enjoyable. I also appreciated the well-equipped kitchen, allowing us to make our own breakfast. I had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay at Midsummer Barn and would highly recommend it to others.

It truly feels like home here. the location is peaceful and offers stunning views. the bedrooms are cozy and tidy, ensuring a comfortable night's sleep. the kitchen is spacious, making meal preparation a breeze. the living room has everything you could possibly need, and there is even a large utility room with an extra toilet. the provided amenities and attention to detail make for a perfect stay. Whether you want to relax in the sunshine outside or go completely off-grid, Midsummer Barn has it all covered. Cons: Nothing could have been better! 🌟.

One area that could be improved is the number of bathrooms. As a cottage that can accommodate up to 7 people, an additional shower would have been beneficial.

J'ai adoré séjourner dans cet endroit magnifique. La vue sur le lac était à couper le souffle et il était situé dans un endroit calme, idéal pour se détendre. La literie était très confortable et j'ai apprécié d'avoir deux toilettes dans la maison. De plus, la boîte à clés était pratique, facilitant l'accès à la maison. Les équipements étaient satisfaisants, notamment la présence d'un parking fermé à proximité et de caddies pour les bagages.

La piscine était en travaux depuis des années et n'était toujours pas prête. C'était décevant de ne pas pouvoir en profiter.
